Transport Holdings Ltd. Is a joint venture company formed to provide transport
and associated services by its two shareholders. Steamships Trading Co.
and P & O. PNG Limited.
We trade as Port Moresby Transport (POMTRANS) in Port Moresby and the Central Province and as Niugini Transport (NIUTRANS) in Lae and the Morobe Province. Our operations are not limited to these two provinces as we now service customers in the Milne Bay Province and over recent times have work with project cargo in most areas of Papua New Guinea. We have a diverse and well maintained fleet of vehicles consisting of flat top cargo trucks, prime movers with trailers, side loaders, low loaders, fuel tankers, Hiab cranes and fork lifts. These vehicles are serviced and maintained in our own fully equipped workshops. We specialise in customs clearance, transport, warehousing, cargo bonding, freight forwarding, consolidation & deconsolidation, by air, road and sea. We also specialise in bulk and packaged
fuel & lubricant distribution and are contracted to the major oil companies
in Papua New Guinea
